Follow-up visits and treatment
Treatment with braces requires you to visit your orthodontist monthly, but with Invisalign, you can change your aligners every two weeks, and your visit to the orthodontist will be every 4 – 6 weeks.
After treatment with either Invisalign or braces, you will need a positioner or retainer to prevent your teeth from moving back to their former position. The retainer may need to be worn at night, but your orthodontist will advise you on how to wear your retainers.
